This page offers a brief overview of the course in classical (biblical) Hebrew. Classes in classical Hebrew are offered to any interested party. They are held once a week here in Baldivis, WA. Contact me via this website to apply.

Hebrew may only be taken when at least one year of Greek (preferably two) have been completed. The Hebrew class spreads the study of A. B. Davidson’s Introductory Hebrew Grammar (26th ed.) over two years. All the exercises, including those in reverse translation and pointing, are worked through. These exercises are not infrequently to be completed in both Greek and Hebrew to highlight and contrast the way in which the grammar of the respective languages works. In addition, my graded Hebrew reader A Hebrew Adventure is read. Vocabulary equivalents are usually provided in Greek, not English.
